Dave Earling has proven skills, integrity

My mailbox is full of political mail containing candidate claims of accomplishments and caring about our community.

There is one candidate for county executive, Dave Earling, who has a long history of achievements, public service (in addition to his full-time job) and achievements on behalf of our communities. I see in Dave’s agenda the issues that matter to my family and community: saying no to a special tax increase just to run the county jail, expanding roads to go with successful bus service, working with businesses to create more jobs, and stopping Congress from closing the naval base in Everett.

I worked with Dave as he served on the Edmonds City Council, when I was on the Edmonds School Board. I’ve seen first-hand that Dave has the leadership skills, experience, commitment and integrity we need in our next Snohomish County executive.
