Death an escape from a life in prison

I can’t imagine walking in to see my beloved child every day for 15 years and knowing from doctors’ reports and her lack of improvement and response that she would never get any better.

Whatever she could feel or understand, we’ll never know. But we do know that Terri Schiavo’s existence was not a life but a prison from which she would never escape except with death.

With this death, she is now in heaven where she can be whole again. And in what better company could she be as a newcomer: Pope John Paul II and Prince Rainier. What a wonderful rebirth for her!
