All this fuss and furor over “who knew what and when” concerning intelligence information about terrorist plans and activities is ridiculous.
As any current or former intelligence officer ( I was Air Force) can tell you, each of the several intelligence agencies are viciously jealous and protective of their turf, sources and analytic methods. Ask any one agent the time of day, and he’ll either give you Greenwich Mean Time, Naval Observatory time, or a figure without “revealing” what time zone he’s referring to! Even then, he may question your “need to know.”
