As our Democratic leaders and presidential hopefuls align themselves with the issues of today, they should concentrate on staying believable and aware of reality. All have jumped on the platform of some version of Medicare for All. All are for immigration reform.
All got to the microphone as soon as humanly possible to lay the responsibility of the senseless killings of the people in El Paso and Dayton at the feet of President Trump.
Medicare for All would lower the quality of services and care the hospitals and clinics provide as they would have to operate on a much smaller budget. The huge tax burden that would have to be levied against the middle class would guarantee the middle class would never be able to raise themselves above the near poverty level. These candidates know this, but will not share this with their prospective voters.
The Democratic presidential candidates are all for immigration reform but, not one has a solution other than “open the boarders “ and let anyone and everyone in that wants to live in the U.S. If we do this the U.S. would no-longer have the ability to be a nation of “goodwill” to other countries in the world. We would be broke and unable to help others in times of crisis. If we continue to label our differences as Americans we will never again be able to come together and unite as one.
President Trump’s policies on immigration are exactly how the Democrats’ policies 10 years ago yet, the presidential candidates for the Democrats act as if these policies are barbaric and un-American. They in unison couldn’t wait to lay the murder of these innocents’ in El Paso and Dayton at the feet of our president.
