I, as a faithful reader of The Herald, am sorely disappointed in this paper. I am shocked and speechless that the most important news story of this new century was not published for its readers. That’s right, I was never made aware President Obama revoked the right of freedom of speech for Americans.
What? That never happened? Well, then, what right does he or any other Democrat have to tell me I shouldn’t speak out against this bogus health care reform bill at a public town hall meeting? It is the right and the duty of every citizen of this country to scream and shout when the government tries to sell its citizens on a plan that will destroy health care in this country.
Finally, before you Democrats start screaming that I’m a right-wing Republican, I would point out that I served the Democrat Party at every caucus I could attend in 2008. I not only attended, I volunteered hours and hours of my time. This bill is wrong, it’s damaging and I take great offense to the president’s comments to those who object to this nightmare he is trying to push onto us.
