Dems can’t come up with a better plan

Many of your letters from liberals or Democrats do nothing more than bash President Bush and bashing President Bush is nothing more than a waste of time and effort on their part.

Let’s take our recent war in Iraq. We are currently involved in military strategy called “preemptive self defense.” What that means is that we will actively search out our enemies anywhere in the world and hit them before they hit us. We’re dealing with international suicidal terrorists who have no problem bombing civilians in churches, restaurants and buses.

And what is the Democrats’ proposed program to deal with these terrorists? They want to pull our troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan and again leave these countries to train and rebuild al-Qaida and the Taliban.

On Veteran’s Day this year I had the pleasure of listening to Capt. Kendall Card, the commanding officer of our aircraft carrier the USS Abraham Lincoln. He and his crew were thrilled and honored to have President Bush land on the Lincoln and welcome them home. Capt. Card stated that “President Bush is the right man in the right place at the right time.” And he is!

So give up the name-calling, Democrats, and come up with a plan that’s more effective in maintaining our safety and security than President Bush’s “preemptive self defense.” Until you can come up with a program that can be effective in a war on terrorism, save your breath with the name-calling because all you’re demonstrating is that liberals and Democrats have nothing to offer for America’s security and defense of our rights and privileges. God bless President Bush and our troops in our war against world-wide terrorism.
