It really baffles me when I hear Democrats who still think Al Gore won the 2000 election. Apparently letter writer Ann Adams hasn’t heard of the Electoral College. Bush won the vote by a slim margin in Florida, something like 530 votes, but it was enough to get all the electoral votes in Florida.
Now Adams wants the useless United Nations to monitor elections? The U.N. is the most useless and weak organization I know of. It should be in the Sudan right now helping those poor people, but do you see them there? They should disband the U.N.
On another note to letter writer Lynn Claughton, who else would jeer people on a Republican float? Common sense would tell you it was Democrats.
