It is with interest that I read the article in Wednesday’s Herald about a potential site in Everett for a university. As Hans Dunshee said: “I think it’s a great spot” but that’s understandable, coming from a septic tank designer. But has anybody on the Higher Education Coordinating Board been to that site and gotten a whiff of the Everett wastewater treatment plant, especially on a day when the wind comes from the north? Who would go to an institute of higher learning where the smell gets overwhelming?
It seems like one of the more insane ideas by a bunch of our politicians.
