It has been my understanding for at least 54 years that a person’s political leanings and preference is a private thing unless we choose to disclose it. Secret ballot! For that reason to have to disclose what political party one favors in order to cast a vote violates that privacy.
It is also my belief that the number of political signs placed on any given spot should be limited. It almost seems like the candidates think that the number of signs equals the number of votes they will get. Fifteen or 20 signs in a one-tenths of a mile stretch of road seems like overkill to me and a bit obsessive. I call it visual pollution.
