Does GOP require belief in Trump’s lies?

It is amazing to me that only people who support various serious lies told by former President Trump are to be considered real Republicans. I sure don’t believe that former successful Republican politicians in our state would act that way. Republicans like Dan Evans or Jack Metcalf were really pretty decent people and they won elections.

I see only one West Coast republican won a statewide election; there is good reason. Before Trump was president I heard a New York comic say that Trump wanted to be a Banana republic dictator, I laughed then but I am not laughing now. I would like to choose between several candidates not be forced into never considering a Trump Republican.
