don’t usually make it a practice to respond to items in the newspaper but I feel strongly enough about this that I must. I hope many others feel as I do. I am in absolute, total support of Snohomish School District Superintendent Neal Powell. If I have any criticism of his actions at all, perhaps his response to this vandalism was not as harsh as it should have been. The individuals responsible for all of this damage and disruption, and/or their parents, should also be held financially accountable for any costs involved in the cleaning up of this mess. Anyone old enough to graduate from high school should be old enough to understand that he or she is responsible for any such actions they might take. If they do not, then their parents have failed them. The schools are supported by taxpayers who should not have to pay for cleaning up after these thoughtless individuals!
