I respectfully disagree with the May 21 letter writer who said, “One of the great things about this country is ‘if you disagree with the law, don’t let the door bang your butt on the way out.’”
I think one of the great things about this country is tolerance, and if you disagree with a law, and there are enough of you that disagree with the law, you have the power, the right, and, in fact, the obligation, to try and change it. That is what makes this country great.
