My heart is bleeding for Everett City Council members Arlan Hatloe, Marian Krell and Mark Olson for not getting the salary increase they feel is so justly deserved.
Excuse me, folks, but were you unaware of the salary of the position to which you were elected? I think not. I would suggest you put your boo hats away, do the job you were elected to do, and get on with life. If you’re so unhappy with the pay, don’t run for office again. It’s amazing to me that these three crybabies get front-page exposure from The Herald.
