Don’t understand continuing support for President Trump

First of all, I am not being a critic; I am just trying to understand why so many people are still satisfied with President Trump. Needless to say, I am definitely against him and have been since the beginning. What a liar and a cheat. Some examples: He recently said, “I know nothing about WikiLeaks,” but while campaigning said “I love WikiLeaks” three or four times in praise of it. Now he also said, “My gut tells me more than anybody else’s brain can ever tell me,” questioning scientists and military advisers.

In my opinion, those who voted for him watch Fox News, which we all know is 100 percent for Trump. Now I wonder if those folks would stop watching Fox for a couple months and watch CNN for a length of time. Some may be convinced to change their opinions.

I am not trying to be argumentative; just trying to understand. If someone would care to give me their reasons for still continuing to support him I would welcome a reply.

I am reading “The Making of Donald Trump,” by David Cay Johnston and felt that it is my responsibility to recommend this book. The information in the book should open a lot of eyes, especially when they read about his connections to the mafia and drug dealers.
