Regarding the notice in the Sunday Herald that the cartoon, “Non Sequitur” by Wiley Miller, was being scribbled out of the paper because it insulted the president. Hogwash! How can one insult the insulter?
For at least the past 30 years, if there is one person in America, who deserves every adjective in the dictionary, it is Trump. It is an insult to anyone, who thinks, that this is a reason to remove Wiley? No way, he should be given a more prominent spot. Truth be told, Wiley outed himself by posting on Facebook, days before.
Now, looking at the newspaper version, unless you had 20/10 vision, more than likely you missed the insult! I am calling on The Herald to keep Wiley and start an online petition for the editors to keep their hands-off. Unless you have received a mailbag full of protest letters and emails, this is a bad decision. Remember this, anyone who agrees with the decision, while wearing a made in China, red, MAGA hat are the same group, that has a penchant to call everyone else, too Politically Correct! Now the shoe is on the other foot, they are crying foul. Does that mean Kathleen Parker is next?
