Is the Jan. 22 article in The Herald, “Funding fight spawns legislation,” another double standard by Rep. Hans Dunshee, or just another one of his attempts to intimidate and bully people? It seems the Republicans can be criticized for legally obtaining financial support from business entities, while Dunshee is not to be criticized for obtaining financial support from special interest groups like trial lawyers, environmental groups, the tribes and unions.
I am taking this latest intimidation attempt as an indicator that Dunshee is nervous about the election this year, as well he should be. This Democrat-controlled Legislature has continued to raise our taxes and violate our constitutional rights – and Dunshee has supported every step of this government control. It is past time for Dunshee to be gone and representation of the people to begin.
