Hoo-hoo! Hee-hee! Ha-ha!
I just cannot stop laughing at the ridiculous caption under the picture on page A6 of the Jan. 8 edition.
The headline reads, “Scientists closing in on Earthlike planets.”
The caption reads: “This image by NASA shows an artist’s rendition of what an Earth-like planet might look like.”
They actually hired an artist? Hoo-hoo! Hee-hee!
Excuse me while I dry my tears. Sniff.
I would have gone back into the files from the Apollo 8 mission over 40 years ago and pulled a frame from one of the breath-taking Earth-rises we saw as astronauts Borman, Lovell and Anders circled the moon.
Really? Seriously? An artist’s rendition? Hahahahahahahaha!
NASA and the Associated Press can sure turn out a joke now and then.
