Regarding the July 1 editorial in The Herald about the international tribunal, (“International justice needs American support”) I can’t understand the position.
Evidently the editorial board doesn’t understand how the U.N., which represents most of the world, regards the U.S., and it isn’t very favorable.
Can you imagine one of our military personnel being brought up before the international tribunal and what a circus that would be? They would make a mockery out of the trial and then hang him or her! C’mon, editorial board, you can do better than this! Where’s the concern for our citizens?
