Electoral College offers protection

Regarding the Tuesday editorial, “End the electoral college”: Are you guys nuts? We would have eternal Democratic presidents. New York, California Ohio and Florida would elect our presidents.

The Electoral College is there precisely to help our “one person, one vote” history.

Do you want our presidents to be elected by public service unions and the SEIU?

The college protected us from having Al Gore for president.

Go take an American history course.
