The story of Mylo Harvey written by Herald writer Scott North was a very well-written piece of work.
He was able to make us see through his eyes that Mylo was well brought up and was cherished by his family and friends.
He also told of the men and women who put their lives on the line for us every day. When they are called to a scene where someone is running naked on the street and in a store, they don’t know that person or what he is capable of. Their job is to subdue him and keep the public from harm.
The fact that the boy died is neither the family’s or the police officers’ fault. The bad guy here is the drug he took.
The empathy and compassion Scott showed in his work came through to all of us. He did a fabulous job. He deserves much credit.
