Everett Clinic supports needs of Providence

At The Everett Clinic, we believe the expansion plans for Providence Everett Medical Center’s Colby campus are vital to the well being of Snohomish County.

Health care is a very critical and basic need. We must make sure it is available now and into the future. PEMC serves as a regional medical center for all of Northwest Washington and is the safety net for our community. Yet, the hospital is at capacity now. Moving forward with the hospital’s expansion plans ensures the citizens of our county will be able to access quality health care as the county continues to grow in the future.

Providence has done due diligence in evaluating every possible expansion option. They have spent the last three years researching and planning for the best, most cost-effective and sensible solution. That solution is to build on the property they already own east of the Colby Campus.

The Everett Clinic has participated in the strategic planning process with PEMC and we are in full support of their expansion plans. We must ensure all patients have continued access to a high quality, modern hospital facility providing the most advanced technology and services available. Our citizens deserve no less.
