Regarding the letter, “Homeless have taken over Everett Library”: Until everything the writer owns is winnowed down to a single bag and someone named KIMMMM is the only other person in the world who knows how much may be at stake for him if it’s taken, he should take his need for a quiet place to do research upstairs. Oh wait, he did that. So glad the writer’s need at the library was met. He can be sure that the needs of the homeless won’t be met by his suggestion to banish them. Although, to be fair, theirs are not the needs he is interested in meeting, right? And that, in my opinion, is the deeper problem.
