I want to bring recognition to Frank Fargo of Everett, who for a number of years has been bringing his shower-equipped trailer to church meal programs to allow the homeless a shower. (He was featured in a Herald story in November, 2014.)
If I remember correctly, he told me recently that he had given more than 15,000 showers. This man is so dedicated that I personally believe that letters I am sending to our members of Congress will inspire others to take up this ministry.
Now I also believe he should get some national exposure, so here is what I think should happen. Our government should underwrite his and his wife’s trip to Washington, D.C., and give him recognition for his ministry.
