The Everett City Council should keep their pencils sharpened and work the arena issue out.
I am a Whidbey Island resident and I know other residents north of Everett would love to see the proposed arena happen. We could have a place like that to go for different kinds of events and it would be closer and safer than any of the current alternatives.
A lot of us come to Everett to visit family, shop, go for dinner, etc. It would be so great if we residents north of Everett had a place like that to bring our children and grandchildren for events.
So, we are asking the city council, please, to do what it can to see that this arena happens for all to share.
