I would like to thank the mayor of Everett, the City Council and the painters for a wonderful job of keeping graffiti painted over. It seems lately the graffiti on the sound walls of the I-5 freeway have been vandalized by new graffiti artists. Names like “BOUND” and “DRAW” seem to be added to wall after wall along with the back sides of the freeway signs that go across the freeway.
To see this while driving in our city really degrades the quality of life. Parents should have a talk with their kids about better ways to display a kid’s artistic talent. Until they are caught and made to pay restitution for all the repaint jobs, thank you city of Everett for keeping up with this eyesore and making Everett the graffiti-free city.
