Everett’s Carl Gibson Senior Center is debating the closing of its gift shop and opening it up as a thrift store.
The gift shop is more than just a store. Seniors contribute items they have made with their own hands, validating them as contributing citizens.
It may not make a lot of money, but it does so much more. It is run by volunteers and it brings us together as a community.
I would like to invite everyone to stop by and give us a little business and sign the petition to save the gift shop.
