To those folks believing Mr. Williams lied about his experience in Afghanistan, or any other news stories he’s covered: I do not believe he intentionally lied. I believe he embellished his stories with his version of the situation to impress upon us the danger involved.
Having said this, let it not be forgotten how dangerous these missions are for the military and their safety is paramount.
So another human being wanted to tell his story with a few added ingredients.
Who amongst us has not ‘added details’ to a story?
