I want to thank those voters who supported the recent Snohomish Library bond issue. A ten-year-long effort culminated in the prospect of a new library becoming reality.
Everyone will benefit from this new library to be built at Fourth and Maple Street, adjacent to the Centennial Trail extension through town. The new library will more than double the size of the present library. This will mean more books and materials, more computer terminals, more room for the career center, additional space for community programs and more parking. This is a gift to the future as well as to ourselves.
