A couple of times in the last few years, recently last month, I’ve had home emergency situations occur that necessitated calling 911. The response time and care was excellent in both situations.
The last time was more urgent as I had passed out and when I came to I was disoriented and could not sit up without feeling nauseous. The medics quickly performed the necessary tests to determine how serious it was. Their diagnosis and treatment closely matched what the testing revealed at the hospital. Thankfully it was only dehydration and low potassium levels but I’m confident had it been something more serious, I couldn’t have been in better care.
I urge you to vote for EMS levy on Aug. 6. As we all know, medical costs continue to rise. In my opinion, this increase of only .15 per $1,000 of assessed property value is money well spent for quality emergency care.
