Mystified by wine? Travel guru Rick Steves pass
es along some helpful information from a Paris sommelier. Example: To bring out a wine’s flavors, suck air in after you take a sip.
Keep the advice in mind the next time you’re scanning the wine shelves at the supermarket. Or just choose a bottle with a cute critter on the label.
RIP: Actress Lena Nyman has died. She played the lead character in the 1967 film “I Am Curious Yellow,” which was banned in the U.S. because of its sexual explicitness.
Ms. Nyman’s passing comes one day after the death of Maria Schneider of “Last Tango in Paris” fame, and celebrity deaths always seem to come in threes. If I starred in an erotic movie back in the 1960s and ’70s, I’d be nervous right now.
