In response to Tim Eyman’s comments in the Wednesday article, “Optional park fee plan: Is it ‘sneaky’ or fair?”: I am not blind or disabled, so I must be one of those “stupid” people he refers to. I am retired in good health and active.
What this stupid person has are many happy and wonderful memories of my children and I visiting the state parks over the years.
My income is small, but I would gladly donate $5 to keep our wonderful parks open.
Tim Eyman will only be satisfied when he has managed to rid us of all taxes so that we have depleted fire and police departments, unsafe roads and bridges, and no beautiful parks. He can then be very proud of what he has “not” done for his country, but only for his selfish self.
