Family deserves our respect, support

What happened to the Anderton family could happen to any one of us (Dec. 7 article, “Fraud charge stuns young man’s neighbors”). We are former neighbors and knew the family well enough to see that the parents are moral, upstanding, loving and hard working. They raised two great sons. Eddie Anderton is a good person who made a bad choice. Can any one of you say you’ve never made poor life decisions? No one has the right to judge. We are human, and by our very nature are imperfect.

The Anderton family can be assured of our respect and support as they get through this crisis. Time will heal, and we wish them the best.
