I was shocked to read that there are thriving fast food companies present in hospitals. If two-thirds of America’s adult population were overweight or obese, who would even think of putting a McDonald’s in a hospital? Patients seek a healthy life and guidance; fast food destroys that goal. It’s disappointing to know fast food companies are putting money before the health of their customers, especially for those with heart conditions. They are hurting the chances of customers having a long and healthier life. If they are able to offer positive food alternatives and make changes in public schools everywhere, they should be able to do the same in hospitals. Creating healthier eating-places and telling the fast food companies to take a hike would help greatly.
