Few cannot keep supporting many

Regarding the Thursday article, “Sales tax hike funds drug treatment”:

Maybe I am bit confused here. My property taxes went up. The sales tax is now going up. The economy is in the tank and my utilities have gone up. My wages are not going up and I am being taxed out of my house.

The few cannot continue to support the many. I can no longer afford to stay in my home and I cannot leave it as the prices and taxes are too high. When does it end?

When will people take responsibility for their choices and their problems?

I am fed up with rising taxes, and a shrinking wage.

They taxed tobacco to pay for uninsured health care but are closing those facilities. What are the state and counties doing with our money?
