Regarding Comcast customer service, or lack of it: I have had Comcast service for over 10 years now, only in the last few years has customer service declined. It is nearly impossible to talk to a representative that is not overseas. The miscommunication is inevitable, they talk over me, they try and control the conversation without even hearing me out before they have a full understanding. I have been hung up on four times. I have filed formal complaints with the FTC and FCC. Most recently, I received a “cc” copy of Comcast’s response to the FTC and FCC, in it they are only addressing my complaint toward payment arrangements, with no mention of my more serious reason of contact, that being hung up on and treated disrespectfully by customer service. They swept that under the rug. Why would I file a formal complaint to the FCC and FTC over payment arrangements? I wouldn’t.
Every month I have an issue that seems to get rolled over from the previous month; after three or four months of this, things are so backward, I don’t even know what will happen anymore.
This company is out of control and if the government won’t take action against them, where do I go and what do I do? It’s gotten to the point that I feel the need to medicate myself, knowing every month I have to look forward to doing this all over again.
