The Snohomish County Council will have a great opportunity to change the direction of our county with the selection of a new District 4 council member.
I hope they pick a candidate like council members Stephanie Wright and Megan Dunn. The councilor stepping down is Terry Ryan. Ryan has been the swing vote on the council almost always voting with the two Republican council members resulting in 3-2 decisions that often adversely affect our community.
Hopefully the newly elected council member will vote with our progressive Democrats on the council. We need a person who will represent our community and protect our neighborhoods.
