I served on the first committee to consider Paine Field for commercial activity, back in the 1970s. Mr. Quinby is right (Letters, Feb. 10 “Paine Field: Passenger service was nixed long ago”). We thoroughly studied flight patterns, geography, noise, commercial possibilities and public opinion. We made a report and recommendations.
I can’t remember who paid for all our work, but newcomers should read that study before pouring any money into repeating it.
