Like many people I have a hard time choosing who to vote for in judicial elections. Judge David Hulbert is running for the Court of Appeals. I read his brochure and it says that he is endorsed by Dino Rossi. I called Judge Hulbert’s office and asked why a judge would be endorsed by a politician. Judge Hulbert’s answer was simple: Senator Rossi believes in a smaller, more responsible state government and he believes in protecting the rights of property owners and victims of crime. Dino Rossi understands that judges are very important in safeguarding those beliefs and that is why he has endorsed Judge Hulbert. Since I believe in the same things, I am going to follow Dino Rossi’s advice and vote for Judge Hulbert for Court of Appeals.
