As the longest strike in state history continues, it doesn’t really matter who is right and who is wrong. Both sides are harming the children of this city. It is past time to hand these issues over to a third party. The Marysville School District and the Marysville Education Association need to forward these issues to an arbitrator. Taking the teachers to court will not solve the problem. Binding arbitration is the only answer at this point. If both sides are so sure they are right, then handing this over to a neutral party should be easy. It is time to start healing this city and send our kids back to school.
