Former priorities of Democratic Party have been thrown out

Whatever happened to the old Democratic Party? It isn’t the political party my parents would have recognized.

It has embraced socialism in all its forms. Out with capitalism; in with government control. Guaranteed incomes for all, even for those who don’t want to work! Freedom of speech and thought, forget about it; political correctness rules.

Hate crimes against minorities are really, really bad, unless the victims are Orthodox Jews in New York City. Antisemitism seems to be OK with this new generation of Democrats in the House and Senate.

Then there is the New Green Deal. Bye-bye jet planes, cars, cows, and the petroleum and coal industries. Is there any limit on when abortions can be performed? No, apparently not. The logical extension to this thinking, which has now been voiced by a prominent young Democrat, is the termination of old people, since they are a drag on society. Walls are immoral, unless it’s a wall around your house.

Canada is not the only place that has loonies; we got a lot of them, too!
