Talk about complaining. The Thursday letter about mailing your ballots in and paying for a stamp? Are you serious? It is a privilege and duty to vote.
Does this voter live at the polling place? Because the complaint was that we have to put stamp(s) on our mail-in ballots, it is no longer free. It never was free. Unless you live at the polling place, you still had to drive, walk, take public transit, etc., to get there. Instead of complaining about two stamps, why not get together and start a pool where you and family/neighbors you trust take ballots to drop off?
We have so many freedoms here in America that is too petty to complain about the cost of two stamps. I will buy her a book or two if she needs them. Thank God we live the good old US of A. Freedom is not free. It may cost a stamp or two, or maybe a car ride. Be thankful; other countries do not have it as easy.
