In response to the Tuesday letter about traffic cameras, “Unfair to require three-second stop,” let’s be real. Sitting at a traffic light for a mere three seconds is not going to kill anyone. If three seconds of your time i
s too much to give up from your precious time while driving, maybe you shouldn’t be on the roads.
When I run through town, multiple times I have had cars roll through the red lights without stopping, coming toward me as I had a walk sign across the crosswalk. An arrogant attitude toward three seconds of patience proves why we need these cameras in the first place. Follow the laws they have in place, and you won’t have anything to worry about, or complain about.
