I have to disagree with the article published on Sunday about the Washington Stealth’s final game, “Stealth lose season finale to Buffalo.” The author stated that the season ended with a “sour note” and went to write a number of negative comments about the team. All the folks I was with thought it was a great game, and they kept us cheering all the way through the last second of overtime!
I have never had much interest in sports but the Stealth lacrosse games at Comcast Arena have changed that. The team is made up of a group of talented athletes. Even though they had a losing season, each game was exciting and had plenty of outstanding moments. The activities during each game just added to the fun. The Bombshell cheer team were amazing dancers, the music during the games kept the excitement up, there were lots of good food choices (love the donuts), and the managers of the team and arena do a great job of organizing events. We are already looking forward to the next season!
