‘General’ should be part of name

With the opening of the new Providence Tower on Colby Avenue, a short history of Providence Hospital (June 5 article), was all well and good. However, since the “Colby Campus” was General Hospital of Everett for so many years, a history of General Hospital should also have been included.

They are treating it as if GHE never existed. Well, it did… All of the people who passed through its doors can attest to that… All of the gals and guys who graduated from its excellent School of Nursing can attest to that. The name on the hospital should be General/Providence Hospital to honor the GHE history also.
