I would like to thank all of the people who have helped me, and are still helping me, when the house I lived in was heavily damaged by fire. They are:
The PUD man who helped me down the front steps of the house.
Everett firemen who responded and were kind and compassionate.
Coni Conner from American Red Cross, who helped my daughter and me from the beginning and found us temporary living.
Diana Hefley from The Herald.
Mr. Gene Goosman, who responded by giving his time and expertise in getting things started to restore the house and is following through by getting people involved, and is working to get us back in our home.
Mr. David Lin and his crew, who have fixed up one of his apartments, making it wheelchair accessible so I can live there while the house is being restored.
Thanks to my friends who helped and the people who contributed to a fund to help me financially.
There are people whose names I don’t know, and to all of you I am forever grateful and will always remember the kindness this community has shown my daughter and me.
Lynnwood
