I am immensely proud of the Snohomish High School Class of 2011. It has been my pleasure serving as their principal since their freshman year at the Snohomish Freshman Campus, and then through three years at Snohomish High School. This group of students has time and again shown excellence in the classroom, in athletics, in clubs and activities and in our community.
At Tuesday’s graduation, they once again displayed their compassion for others by bringing canned food to graduation and leaving it at the bottom of the stairs as they stepped forward to receive their diploma. More than 200 cans of food were delivered to the Snohomish Food Bank the next morning, courtesy of the Class of 2011.
Thank you, graduates, for making a difference. You have had, and will continue to have, a special place in my heart.
Make it a Pantherific future,
Beth Porter
Snohomish High School Principal
