Thank you to all who attended the Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center’s 10th Anniversary Celebration luncheon at the Xfinity Conference Center in downtown Everett on Nov. 3. Together, with our generous sponsors, over $100,000 was raised for the free services Dawson Place provides to child victims of sexual assault and child abuse from all of Snohomish County. We thank you for the amazing show of support.
In just 10 short years since Dawson Place first opened its doors, we have helped heal nearly 10,000 abused children in our community and transformed their hurt into hope. In our first year of operation, we served 50 children, and since that time have become internationally recognized for our coordinated treatment of child abuse victims. Dawson Place is a single location where abused children and their families can go to find the compassion, protection and healing treatments that will help them return to a normal and happy life. It’s something that you and every person in Snohomish County should be proud of!
Dawson Place is a nonprofit organization that exists because of people like you. On Nov. 3, you along with 500-plus community members joined us as we celebrated 10 years of transforming hurt into hope. Thank you again for your support, your generous contributions, and your stance against child abuse. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children every day!
