Girl Scouts volunteer, sweeten food program

The weekly feeding program at our church received some special contributions recently. Girl Scout Troop 5527, under the leadership of Karla Felt, gave us 168 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. During their recent cookie drive, these girls sold 5,227 boxes. Part of the profit from this sale goes to funding Girl Scout projects. This troop helps once a month at our feeding program and because of this they wanted the dinner guests to share in their success in selling.

We appreciate their contribution and also their help serving. They bring smiles to the dinner guests.
