Recently, as I hurried across north Broadway to catch my bus to work, I missed the curb and did a head first dive right into the sidewalk. What a mess! I fractured my eye socket, got a minor brain concussion and broke a couple of ribs – there were lots of other smaller owies, but those were the major ones.
Needless to say I knocked myself unconscious and was bleeding pretty good – unable to take care of myself in the slightest. Two women waiting on the bus came to my rescue! I’m not quite sure what all they did, but I know they tried to stop the bleeding, called EMS for me and stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. I did not get the opportunity to say thank you to these two wonderful people and I have no idea what their names are.
I am hoping you will print this thank you to these women so they will know that I was aware they were trying to help me and how much I do appreciate it! Thank you, ladies!
