Two recent letters brought into question Democrats’ ability get elected, their leadership qualities and political relevancy. For six years out of the last eight, Congress has been dominated by Republicans. State legislatures and governorships across the country are overwhelmingly dominated by Republicans.
The liberal Democrats aren’t the problem. The problem are Republicans who gerrymander districts, with added support from Russian propaganda bots influencing our election by disseminating untruths, and Republicans who sugarcoat the president’s lies. The current occupants of the White House are under investigation by our intelligence agencies for possible collusion with the Russians. House Republicans Devin Nunes and Paul Ryan need to allow an independent investigation to commence. It’s time for a reality check. Treason is a serious offense.
